Independence Day

This year we decided to check out a 4th of July festival close to our house that we'd never been to in previous years.  Normally, we go a few hours early and let the kids play games, get treats, and then set up for the fireworks.  And normally, we spend a ton of money on those games and treats.  So imagine our surprise when we got to this festival and found out that all the little games were free!  FREE!  They also had all kinds of festival food that was very cheap!  We ended up spending $4.50.  That's all!  It was a fantastic night with the family.  Here is a summary of our night in pictures.
First, we checked out the car show
Next, we played a few games...Kaitlyn playing ladder golf
Kinsey playing ladder golf
Kinsey playing the bean bag toss
Kaitlyn trying to toss ping pong balls into the cups
Kinsey trying to shake the gumballs to the bottom in  under  one minute
Then we got balloon hats
Of course we had to get tattoos
Really hard core tattoo
Kinsey got a star tattoo
After we set up for the fireworks, we had a dance party...robot style, of course
Kinsey opted for a senior pic pose

Kinsey and Kaitlyn...sisterly love
Finally getting to watch the fireworks
All that fun completely wiped them out!
